Collection of Randy Mower. Maps dated as late as 1968-01-01. Navy lines on white-cream colored paper. Pages not fan-folded, all custom length. All but Sunnyside Yard and Jamesburg branch bound and rolled up. Sunnyside Yard is on a large sheet by itself. Jamesburg Branch and Bel-Del Branch are on larger sheets, 2 to a sheet. All of these maps have markings for the binding location, etc., and appear simply never to have been cut out and bound.
This set is unfortunately not complete. Missing sheets are 0, HAROLD; 4, East River Tubes; 8, A-C-KN-JO; 9, North River Tubes; 10, PORTAL; 25, Sig 695 Grundy to M.P. 76; 31, BO; 34, Farmingdale; 41, WC; and 42, SA. Sheets 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 38-40 are not mentioned at all in the table of contents.
Sheets 2-3 may historically have been present to show interlockings F, Q, and R separately. All are now on sheet 1. Likewise sheets 5, 6, and 7 may have been used previously for C, JO, and KN, prior to combining all of these with A on sheet 8. I am not able to venture a guess as to what may have been shown on sheets 38-40, but judging from the surrounding stuff, it was probably a branch line. Sheet 12 is missing as well, and may be the old sheet number for DOCK, which appears with HUDSON on a huge sheet 11 in this set.
