Junction, from the northeast, of the Main Line -- Bradford to New Paris, a freight cut-off line from the Logansport main. Use of this line helped freights to avoid the grades into and out of Dayton. See further below.
Junction, from the east-southeast, of the Cincinnati main.
Richmond, Ind. station itself is at M.P. 119.6.
Junction, to the west-northwest, of the Richmond Branch to New Castle, Anderson, Elwood, Kokomo, and Anoka Jct. (and ultimately Logansport).
Junction of the ... Branch to the southwest, which joins the Louisville Branch at Columbus, Ind. -- also the point where the Marion Branch joins in.
Junction with the freight bypass to Hawthorne Yard, which veers off a bit to the south of the passenger main. [Hawthorne Jct.?]
Junction of the passenger main and the Indianapolis Union Rwy. freight "belt line", here travelling north and south.
Major downtown junction of PRR Columbus--Indianapolis passenger main from the east, Louisville Branch to the south, and St. Louis main to the west. Also joining in are NYC "Big Four" main from Cleveland, through IU, to St. Louis. (?Also B&O) At the western end of the plant, the PRR Vincennes Branch veers off to the southwest.
