Unlike the other signal collections, none of these photos were taken from aboard a train. The collection covers the entire UP-BNSF shared trackage from the junction at Mojave to the junction at Kern Junction in Bakersfield.
On each page, you will see description such as this:
013 West Cameron
- 013 is an arbitrary number to keep the photos in order.
- West indicates the photo is looking in the west bound direction.
- Cameron is the name of the interlocking. Intermediate signals are identified by their number rather than a name.
